It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Bear, co-founder and inspiration behind Carson and Bear. This gentle giant, a magnificent Pyrenees, crossed the rainbow bridge November 24, 2024, leaving a paw print on our hearts forever.
Bear joined our founder, Scott’s, family in 2015, rescued from an adoption event. From that moment on, Bear was home, offering unwavering love, loyalty, and a whole lot of furry cuddles. His presence filled their lives with joy, and his spirit of unconditional love inspired the creation of Carson and Bear.
Bear embodied the very essence of our company’s mission: to help dogs live their best lives through proper food and nutrition. He reminded us of the powerful bond between humans and their canine companions and how much they enrich our lives.
To honor his memory and carry on his legacy, we are proud to announce that our commitment to canine health and happiness will now be known as “Bear’s Life Promise.” This promise reflects our dedication to providing dogs with the nourishment they need to thrive, just as Bear thrived in his happy place – the family ranch, where he spent his final days surrounded by love and enjoying all his favorite things.
In his later years, Bear thrived thanks to the Carson and Bear Dog Wellness Program. Within just two years, we witnessed remarkable improvements in his mobility and overall well-being. Seeing his renewed energy and joy reaffirmed our belief in the power of proper nutrition and proactive care.
Bear was more than just a pet; he was a companion, a confidant, and a true friend. He taught us about loyalty, kindness, and the importance of living in the moment. Though he may be gone, his memory will forever be etched in the heart of our company and in the promise we make to every dog we serve.
